I spent 35 years in Management for luxury retailers in California.  From San Francisco to Beverly Hills- and I loved every minute of it!  Shortly before Covid hit, I quit my job to work closer to home as my daughter was in High School and I wanted to be there for her. I took the holiday season off, and started looking for work in March- boom!  Covid shut everything down.  So, I pivoted, and relied on my love for jewelry and my experience in retail to start my jewelry line, Satu Koru. 

 In Finnish, Satu means a "short story", Koru means "Jewelry".  It's always been my dream to open a store, when I started this jewelry line, it was natural to call it "Satu Koru", giving a nod to my Finnish ancestry.  It's important for all of us to feel unique and to wear what's unexpected.  Each piece of Satu Koru comes from my heart, and a genuine and empowering place.
